no way, in the 1st match he was visibly tired in the 2nd set, couldn't do nothing about it. If you don't think he was tired, I must ask the question: "do you have eyes?"
the 2nd match was very tight, but if he were gonna let him win, I would think he would want a 3rd set. He seemed to be having fun but even in these types of "meaningless" matches, it's still hard to lose a tiebreak.
the 3rd match in Macao he could've also made it go to a 3rd set but was worried about Federer coming back and winning and so took no chances and closed out the match proper.
