Everytime i look at a highly regarded event he has always lost. How did he achieve the #1 ranking. No insult to him in this thread intended.

Is he always losing? I think you need to check your facts.
In the past year, he won 2 ITF GA's including Copa Gerdau in Brazil and the French Open Juniors. In addition, he reached the finals of Wimbledon. Recently, he's ran into some stiff competition in his very own doubles partner Dimitrov. Aside from that, Ignatik seems pretty legit to me.

yes but as #1 shouldnt he win more than 2 itf's in one year?

he is a davydenko cept he won a grand slam...

davydenko may be ranked number 1 or 2 if federer weren't there if he won 1 grand slam and maintained good results
