How are junior tournaments arranged?

Im 18 so im still considered a junior but I dont have much experience as I've only been playing for about a year and a half.

I want to start playing competitively because I want the challenge. Im a senior and I know I'm not going to college for tennis so thats besides the point.

Are all junior tournaments divided by age or do they figure in NTRP ratings?

when you become an adult then u can play ntrp tennis but they do age in the juniors. i think you should still do it, tournaments are a fun experience and are great to meet friends. i usually take out my opponents to dinner during the tournament and have some chill out time with them or i offer my house to competitors that have no way to stay in the area but a hotel
