Simon Browns thread was awesome cuz he actually did something and talked (+photos) about it instead of just talking about it. And it actually involved several people and lots of mileage. Very cool!! Everyone should try putting a thread like that together.

The best thread is The TWSF Chapter, as it has inspired people from all over to start their own Chapters, which has resulted in hundreds of people from the boards meeting, playing, and posting pics of their meets.

^^Actually, I had already privately contacted a few people from the boards and played with them. Almost every time I would meet someone I would post a photo of us hitting in the "Your Picture" thread.

A few posters stated they liked that I was willing to meet people from the boards, and then found out javier, no skillz, oscar, dr punk and I were going to meet up one day, and they asked for me to take photos. I agreed, and told them I would start a thread.

The rest is history.

I've actually been meeting people from the boards for a few years now (Before the construction of the Bistro). A few of them are no longer even posting.

That's why each time I would post a pic, people would be astonished that I would go out and actually meet people from the internet (the horror). LOL

Anyway, I asked javier and dr punk to meet up with no skills and myself one day (can't remember the thread we were all participating in). The other posters started making bets of who was better, making jokes, etc. We then got Oscar2424 to join us as well.

If memory serves, JohnnyF (from England) asked if I would be posting pics (as I had done before). Soon everyone jumped on the bandwagon and insisted I post photos of the "meet".

That's when I informed them I would just start a new thread.
