$21 is what I heard.

If it really does sell at $21 a set, that might be a tough sell. Higher than Luxilon and closing in on natural gut. It has to be pretty special at that price.

Did you read my thread on it?

Yes, but we need to see a few more data points than yours to tell if it's worth $21. I'm hoping TW will come in at a lower price than the $21 mentioned in your thread.

I doubt it, Prince tells them what to sell it for. It is good stuff, and for the demographic I think it appeals to, 5 bucks extra a set isn't going to really stop anyone from using it.

5 bucks a stringjob to me is over a thousand a year, but to someone who strings once a month, who cares?

I think I will shell out extra 5 bucks for Klip gut or pay $12 bucks a set for NRG2 or Excellerator. No synthetic string should cost more than $20.

It appeals to a different type of player than gut/multi. I see this as a string for peeps who use poly now, but really don't have the batspeed to reap the benefits.

Or for those who use a basic syngut, and are looking for a step up.

Dunno why I am promoting this stuff...Prince is the enemy.

Hmm, priced at $25, I'm not so inclined to try it. Seems too much for a synthetic gut. And the big draw, as advertised on the pack, is that it's better because the strings snap back into place. But we get that with any cheap poly. I wonder why Prince is pricing this so high.

because its not a poly. its ridiculously comfortable, but durable.

try it. its only 25, its worth it.

Everybody please buy the Prince Recoil, so TW will never run out of Klip Legend Gut ever again for me. :)

Wow. $25 for a synthetic string that will break in a few hours. Already better to get Babolat Tonic or Klip Legend.

FWIW as a guy who has played both. I would prefer the recoil over klip.

At whatever price.

You also seem to forget, that some of us play in humid and some what rainy conditions from time to time, and natural gut won't last long in such a weather. Here the Prince Recoil could prove itself worthy of the high price tag.
