Hello,
Dunno much about Yonex, so I ask..
What are the main differences between:
RQiS Series
RD Series
RQ SeriesThanks :)

basically yonex has the RQ and RD lines. i think the RQ is supposed to be more power/comfort oriented and the RD is more control/feel oriented. but there are RQ frames that are low powered and RD frames that are have some power and feel pretty cushioned. i think another thing is that the RQ frames usually have tapered or dual-tapered beams while the RD frames usually have a more constant width with, if ever, only a slight tapering. they've had a lot of other series' under each line through the years like the ff:
RQ - SRQ, SRQ-ti, URQ, RQS and now, RQiS - depending on the material used and the technology/marketing gimmick involved
RD - SRD, SRD-ti, RDX, and the most recent - RDS
other series' they had but decided to discontinue:
cyborg series
mp series - muscle power grommet technology, similar to babolat's woofer system. this technology is still used in some of their lower-end RQ series rackets
v-con - vibration control shaft technology, i think this was developed to compete with wilson's triad technology
