The RDS 002 is the replacement for the RD ti-80...basicall the same racket with some slight beam chages, and a little stiffer.

Agreed. The RDS 002 Tour plays similar to the RD Ti-80.

the rds 002 is just a lil stiff for me though. anything past 65 i dont like. i tried it out and thought it was too stiff or maybe could have been the strings

Just to be sure, you tried out the RDS002 Tour (not the regular RDS002) and thought that it was stiffer than 65 ?

I played with Rd-Ti 80 for a while and had Lux in my RDS002 Tour and the flex pretty much felt the same but the comfort was far greater with far less of that tinny feeling. If you felt that it was stiff than 65 then I would say most certainly that it was the strings. Your other option for a flexy Yonex player's racquet is the RQiS 1 which is also very comfortable.

i think there is a small thread on it with pictures. but is there much difference between new RDS lines and RQis lines ? i thought RQIS was going to replace the RDS rackets but i guess that is not the case.
