What is your favorite balance and in which frame?

I personally like 8pts head light in a 27" frame and 6pts head light in a 27.5". Current racquet is rds001 midplus.

Shouldn't you take swingweight into account too..? I mean, balance alone doesn't determine how a racket plays.

I mean, the nBlade and the Microgel Radical have the same balance, but the Microgel is much easier too swing than the nBlade due to the lower swingweight.

No, but because there isn't one correct answer it makes the question pretty useless... *hint of sarcasm*

Over the past couple years I have tended to choose racquets that have a stock balance of 6-8 pts HL.

oh well not much you can do about it. if people didn't ask questions like these then this section would be alot more boring at times.

If you mention the racquet you use as I asked, we could find out the swingweight if we wanted to (unless it's modded with lead). That is the point.:)

Yes there is one correct answer the op asks for "your favorite balance?", if you don't know the anwer to that then I wouldn't expect to see a post from you either. Think about that *hint of sarcasm*

Well ok then, I won't quarrel any further.. Let's not use hints of sarcasm anymore..

My favorite balance is something between 2 and 5 points headlight.. The frame in which that would go weighs 310 grams unstrung, and has a headsize of 95. Swingweight of the racket preferably around 320 - 325.

I now play the nBlade which doesn't fit those specs exactly, but it's pretty good. However I am very curious about the new kBlade.

BTW.. you are the OP aren't you :?

Never meant to quarrel, like soggyramen said "im just messing around":)

Thanks for the input though. KBlade 98 should meet your requirements quite well,

Strung Weight: 11.1oz / 315g
Balance: 3pts Head Light
Swingweight: 325
Stiffness: 64

4-6 is the best!

I think so. 4-6 has the best balance between groundies and volleys.

How did you get 6pt HL from the warrior? Mine is 1 pt HL standard.

Fast Foreword half a year later. . .

And it happen again. I sought out a new racuquet didn't think much of balance and wound up getting a 7point head light racuqet.

5-9 HL for me

12.5oz, 5 pts HL is looking pretty good for me. I prefer more HL balance like 9 pts for my forehand, but the improvement in my backhand with the 5 pt balance is enormous. I am hitting my one hander so much better because there is more weight to pull the head around and plow through the ball rather than wrist over it.
