Sorry I haven't replied. I just got my computer working again after 3 weeks. Instead of getting Yonex Tour Super 850 Pro Spin for mains and a polyester cross im going with an all 850 pro spin job. What tension do you think I should go with?

I play from the baseline only except when forced to the net. I use a semi western forhand and 2 handed backhand. I was thinking of going with a lower tension like 54 or 55 on my Prince Tour NXG MP.

Maybe 55-56. You were using PSG before weren't you? Yes I would go with about 55-56. It might seem a little tight at the start (cant remember your old tension), but as it 'breaks in' and the tension adjusts, you will get more spin and power. If you really looking to get spin out of it, go for a lower tension. I'm not sure how much that will affect the control, but you should be okay, and it would be great for doubles, lots of touch. Good luck, tell me how it goes, Kick.

I got it back earlier today. I hit against a wall and found it to play solid... after I put a Pete Sampras vib. dampner on it. I also added 3 grams to 3 and 9 O'clock each and 2 grams to 2 and 10 O'clock each. I will hit with it against a wall again tomorrow but have a feeling I will put 3 to 5 grams at the bottom of the handle. Solid though and more powerful like I wanted. Can't wait to get to play with it this spring, especially since im getting 4 Nick Bollettieri videos.

Thanks again for advice.

Also about how many ounces is 10 grams.

I don't know about ounces and that sort of thing (apart from psi), so I use this site. According to it,

10 grams = 0.353 ounces

Kick, Ive gotten to hit 3 times this week with the new string. I took all the lead tape off, it was just to much for me (im 120 and weak). It plays very solid and as you said has great touch. I can actually do drop shots. With my old Head intelligence X5 OS it was to stiff to drop the ball. If you haven't tried it you should. Its great. I also got 4 Nick Bollettieri Video's (Forehand, backhand, serve, and court position and shot selection videos for Christmas) which have really helped.
