Hi,

I want to buy a reel of Gosen OG Micro and get it delivered to UK. It is $28 shipping to UK!! Obviously it isnt going to cost that much. $10 is a decent price.

Is it possible through one of you TW staff to let me have Gosen OG Micro ($29.99) and $10 shipping?

Any reply would be appreciated

Why not buy some other stuff as well....the OG reel is only 15...another reel and some grips/clothes/ etc would make it better value.

Maybe but i dont string for people enough to justify paying for other stuff etc.

Its ok for you stringing 20-30 rackets a week :) The income must be huge!! and that can be re-invested in tennis equipment.

Where as for me i have to watch what i buy

It really just depends when you need the strings, This is the prices I got quoted for one real of Gosen OG Micro

World Mail$7.50 2/4/08 Delivery 2-4 weeks, maybe longer. No tracking available.
FedEx International Economy $30.001/28/08 Delivery in 5 business days.
FedEx Int Priority $36.00 1/28/08Delivery 3-5 business days.
Express Mail$44.00 1/31/08 Express Mail - Lane 5 - delivery 7-10 days

Why not just use World Mail? Unless you need it seriously urgently

World mail i got quoted as $12 with no tracking and 4-6 weeks delivery. May as well pay the $28 but for 1 reel, its a lot

Seriously? Where do you live then? I'm in Scotland so I thought it'd be more expensive up here!. I'd honestly recommend getting another few things just to make the shipping better value. Even if it's another $20 top or something!

Yeah thats a possibility.

If they stocked pro supex string it would be easier. Why dont they stock it?

I didnt mean buy loads of other stuff...e.g...just a few packs of grips and a TW T-Shirt...thats what I do.

T-Shirts are really nice and only $5!...

Happens alot, Either Pro Supex has some terms tw don't agree with or tw has terms pro supex don't agree with, It happens in business.

But if TW read the string forums and introduced it they would make $$ due to the reviews on big ace

20 people won't make the $$. Granted alot of people may like the string (I have a set to try, haven't got it in yet) but simply because, say 20 people love this string doesn't mean TW will make a killing. Also, sometimes as I said the terms just don't work out.

Like others said, try adding another reel to make it 2. Probably be the same shipping cost or just a few bucks more. As to the Pro Supex, I can see TW getting some nice business selling them.

Ok so what strings do you suggest?

Gosen OG Micro (Nickb's recommendation)
Anything else worth getting on the cheap. Might as well get some grip enlargers ($2)
