Irreplaceable by Beyonce Knowles
Whatever that horrid new single by Britney Spears is. Does she even sing that or is it all just computer programming? Ick.

I wondered how bad that could be--so I found the song "Colbie Caillat - Bubbly" And...

My gawd, 10 seconds of that and I wanted to scream!

This song makes me laugh like a... something that laughs loudly. Thing is, it probably isn't meant to. Absolutely hilarious.

Warning: some bad words in there. Don't play it at work/near kids/near grandma.

any new rap. its dead people need to move on and stop making crap music.
any of those 90's boy bands that were huge that every once in awhile i hear are gonna get back together. basically all new music as an industry its dying. ive heard that some lesser known bands are decent but seriously its over. creativity is gone and now its all about cranking out as many bad songs as you can so a decent song becomes a hit.

I actually like Rick Astley's voice. He has a great version of "When I fall in love", a standard: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SwLL8mBkDxQ

He's unlikely to release much more new music, if that's any consolation....

Everything from Inner Circle. I don't know if they are known in the states but they have been a pretty big deal in the 90s here in Europe.

I work in a lolly shop atm, and we have about 2-3 cds of 50s pop playing continually, the cds change every 2-3 months. I Bitterly hate every song. There's one that I particularly loathe now, has the lyrics: "rubber ball, I'll come bouncin' back to you..." I feel like I'm going to mentally break down every time it comes on. The worst part is when all the old people walk past and ALWAYS sing along to it and then just look at you and smile, as if they are doing something pleasant. glad i got that out.

"Rubber Ball" was written by Gene Pitney. He also wrote "Hello Mary Lou," "He's a Rebel," "Half Heaven, Half Heartache," and many others. Pitney was a fantastic singer. His version of "Angelica" is probably the best, better even than P.J. Proby's version. But I agree that "Rubber Ball" would get a bit annoying. Although, I do not think he recorded it as an official release, not at the time it was written. It's probably the Bobby Vee version you're having to listen to. And you couldn't care less for any of this information . . .

Not really, just because an artist is dead doesn't mean much these days. A little while back a duet was released between a female singer and a "digital" version of Conway Twitty singing a song he never sang, and words he never sang. Disgusting use of an artist. The always overrated Elvis Presley is dead, but people will not shut up about him, either.
