Ok... sorry for the delay.

http://home.earthlink.net/~madtennisplayer/

I have the frames.. I'm stringing them as fast as I can... btw.. the specs on the frame seem to differ from the book... ie. the Ntour says 2 pts HL on the frame... I suppose this could be for strung vs. unstrung.... but I think that there are small differances... feel free to ask ?'s if you like...

I have hit the surge and the Npro... I like the surge more than the older one... and I'm not sure what I think of the Npro... both are lighter than I prefer... but they hit well for their weight. I prefer the new Surge graphics... unsure why they painted these the same... but the beam on the Npro looks very strange... flat on the inside on the hoop... twisting to flat on the throat.... with the opposite sides being round.... gives the appearance of being larger than it really is...

I have yet to string the NPro Staff 95 (18 mains) and 1 pt HL balance... only weighs 10.7 strung.... def not a "orig" replacement as I was told.

I hoping that the Ntour could play well with some weight on the handle I'll start experimenting this week...

keep ya posted...

Should have mentioned... no flex specs... I dont think I will have much time to test them all this week... maybe string some more and test them out later..

They sure seem light. Maybe we are seeing the last of the orig prostaffs. At least there are some flat beams in the list.

I am going to test out the old 6.0 95 as suggested by breakpoint as it looks like it may be the last of a dying breed. I'll compare it to my ncodetour90 and the ncode6.1 95 18x20.

Check out the post about the ncode and hpstaff painted 6.1 classics :?

agreed - definitely light, and not sure about the green. The nPS 95 seems an odd set up ... guess we won't know 'til we hit 'em. Cheers MNJEEPx2.

CliffH, if you're trying to truly compare the 6.095 with the n6.195 then maybe try the 16x18 version - one of the 6.095 great virtues is the spin it generates and I've found 18x20's don't do it for me, but the 6.095 does / did, depending how up for hitting properly I feel on a given day!

First of all...can you please elaborate on difference in play between nSurge and old Surge? Secondly, did they list an nSurge X (27.5")?

And when are they expecting to release these in the US?

The specs of the nPS 95 look more like a replacement for the PS Tour 95 than the PS 6.0 95 Original that I was looking forward to. :(

The nPro looks like Wilson's answer to the Head LM Radical MP, just like the original Surge was Wilson's answer to the Babolat Pure Drive. Hey, if you can't beat them, copy them!!! :D

The nPS 95 is even lighter than the PS Tour 95! Why does Wilson not market anything (new) in the 310-325g (unstrung) range?

I've been waiting for MNJEEPJEEP to post for years. Thank you :D
Actually I expected the nPS 95 to be more heavier and headlight than that. When I make up my mind to part with my PS 6.0, I'd pick up nPro.

My take is this...

If I wanted a "better" surge frame, I may try a nPro The beam is too thick and the frame is too light to make a "traditional" frame guy happy.

End of Jan for release. No nSurgeX.

Gotta get these on the RA test in order to see what to lead up....

the nps 95 colors remind me of the old classic 6.1, thou the specs really don't reflect that. maybe adding lead would make it similar to the ps classic 6.1 euro 18x20.

ntour reminds me of it's ancestor, the hh5.2

Thx for the specs

The NSurge they made 3 oz lighter which is not very appealing. Otherwise the specs are almost identical to the 5.1 Surge. I can't see myself buyin this at all.

The nPro OTOH looks very promising. Just a tad light but I like the 98 inch head, 23 mm beam and 18x18 pattern. If it actually sells tho for $199, I probably won't buy it because there will be many 2-3 year old racquets that will sell for half that much with similar specs.

Thanks alot MNJEEPJEEP I was looking at some sites and in europe they are coming out with the way the new black ones are in red so just an update of the tour 4 in red. You think we will get the same or we are just getting the black version?

Also MNJEEPJEEP it says for the new black 1 that they came out with an 8 pack is the 8 pack bigger than the super 6 or is it smaller or the same size?

A 26mm flat beam? Gross.

The Npro is the one that has the greatest appeal on me... I am just wondering if it has greater or lower swingweight than Ncode sixone 95... and it has 18x18 cross section which i don't see that too often in a racquet... so will this mean it will be harder to produce spin than the regular 16x18 of the Nsixone 95?
