Didier Tsonga played handball, but not what we call handball in the US. Would someone explain/describe European Team Handball rules. Dick Enberg described it as similar to Lacrosse. Only familiar with three-wall handball http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcclHZ5_5oQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvYU5hkCW8M

I didn't know it was different from American handball, I don't really know the rules well, you can only take 5 steps max or something, you can run into people i think and its mostly popular in Scandanavia and Germany

it's the same kind of handball they play in the Olympics. Actually I am surprised that it is still an Olympic sport and something like baseball/softball is being phased out when it way more popular worldwide. Read about it here

We played this in our school PE class. one of the greatest games ever invented IMO.

I wish it was more popular in the US

Yeah, it's really fun. Although not as much fun as footballtennis.

Team ball sports are just one big game of "keep away."

I think "soccer" with your hands is the best way to describe it yeah.

It was the game my high school played, they've won tournaments in Japan and all over Europe throughout the years and several players have gone on to play for England. It's pretty physical.

football tennis seems hard. i can barely get the ball over the net consistently with a racket let alone my feet.

Sweeeeeet, like water polo without the water and the speedos. Or a hard, wet ball straight to the grill. Never saw this game in the Olympics.

You want to watch an amazing sport? Try Sepak Takraw. It looks like the Matrix people playing sports.
