Do any of you guys find it easy getting the price down on racquets and tennis equipment in shops?

At the moment iv found tennis wareouse is cheaper than any other tennis shop iv found on the internet. Im going to my local tennis shop to try and do this because it worked last time (i got an n4 for 115 instead of 150) but im not sure if it will this time...

any comments of your experience and any tips???

Haggling in shops doesn't really work in the US. You might get away with it and local mom and pop operation or some type of flea market situation, but usually established stores don't budge or negotiate their prices.

But over here you can get a free ipod thrown in or money of at national electronic store but im not sure if they will match the price on tennis items in sports shops.

My local tennis/ski/snowboard/golf store gives 20% off all tennis equipment (shoes too) to high school varsity players. Not really haggling, but the prices are better than TW.
