I made an order for US$140 with US$35 shipping and got charged about £35 tax & import duty. As TW send goods to the UK by Fedex there's little chance you'll get away without paying tax.
To be honest, unless you're going to buy something you cant get here in the UK, or you're buying something really cheap, its not worth importing it even with the favourable exchange rate.

Essentially it's VAT (normally 17.5%) plus duty at varying rates
The minimums are not a lot:
Customs duty - if the amount of duty is £7 and over.
Import VAT - if the value of the goods is £18 and over.
The TARIC code for Tennis stuff is 9506510000 (yes I worked it out!) and if you got to
And enter that and USA as the country or origin and you get......
4.7%. So the total tax rate is 22.2% on the purchase.
Add this to the cost of shipping and Paul is correct basically. I have done 4 orders with TW, got charged 3 times.
Hope it helps

Hi, It is still, all your luck.
I've made I think 8 orders, from shorts/shoes to a racket. I've been charged ONCE and that was on my first 1-2 orders.

Nickb is very special. He probably has good connections back there in the UK so he never gets taxed. :)
