good for 1hbh, comfortable, spinny and not too heavy to swing.

What are you currently using? How about trying the POG

I was searching for one also. I hit a 1hbh and to me it feels weird to hit it with anything bigger than 95 inches. I played with prestige classics for quite a while and started looking for something with more pop. It came down to wilson pro staff tours and the rds001. I went with the rds 001. It is the most forgiving mid I have ever played with. And I only play with mids. I am thinking about the new kblade. But I think it is just a prestige clone. Not that I didn't like the prestige. But I am older now and dont play as much and I need a little more pop. The denser string pattern provides the ultimte control but I need more forgiveness.

Demo the RDS 001 Mid. Great racquet. I think of it as the Modern Midsize racquet. Midsize control with ample power. At 12.1oz / 343g there is still some room for customization.

. . .Wait, haven't we had this conversation before?

I would look at either the rds001 mid or the diablo mid if it is your first mid.

They play much larger than the head sizes indicate... it is a good starting point.

k90 would be too heavy the ak90 seems like a great match as well as the rds001. Maybe might want to try the new kblade tour

klblade tour a bit heavier to swing and denser pattern.

i just figured the specs for the 001mid are basically identical to the ones of my redondo mp except for the headsize and stiffness...hmmm...intriguing!!!:-?

Volkl VE10 Tour. Up for a ***** now and boy, what a great racquet. Off course you would have to give some more info about your preferences as it comes to sting pattern, flex, weight, swingweight, pop,...

You can try the racquet finder on TW. Basically most mids are decent player's racquets, so you can't really go wrong. With the racquet finder you can search on SW, flex, and as you can enter headsize, you put maximum 93 square inch and there you have it, all available mids will be listed. There are really many good ones but it depends on your preference: Prince Diablo or NXG Mid, Wilson Six-One, Head Prestige, Volkl VE10 or DNX10 and off course the PK Redondo you seem very interested in according to your posts on the Redondo thread. I have the MP Redondo and the Mid coming on its way, so I cannot give any comments on it yet, but if it is more precise and with the same amount of feel and flex, it might be just what you are looking for.

I will, I already wrote a review on the MP which is accessible from the first page of the Redondo thread. I think the mid will be arriving any time next week.

rofl that racquet is not hard to swing at all. i could easily use a 15 oz racquet efficiently, but it would be a pain in the butt because my feet are not as fast as my hands are. i like my prestige mid though.

If a person says a racquet is too hard to swing, then it's too hard to swing--for them. Which is all that matter, just as it not being hard to swing to others is all that matters.
Telling someone they are wrong does nott make sense.

pshhh 15 oz? I use 5 lbs with ease! muahahaha

but seriously back on the topic of tennis, I think that you should decide what kind of flex and string pattern you like in your racquet first, I own the Redondo mid and MP and I prefer the mid, don't know how to explain why I like it better, the ball goes where I want it to go.
If you like flex, go with the Redondo mid, some people insist on stiffer racquets or open string patterns, if you're one of them, Redondo is not for you as it is the epitome of flexible and dense string pattern.

Performance-wise I've never been happier, I don't know if this racquet suits everyone's style but I'm a flat hitting hard court player if you were wondering. Not to say it doesn't bring the topspin.
