I heard about this girl a while back when she was on the Brit show X-Factor. Clive Davis has apparently dubbed her the next Whitney Houston and has signed her and she is to be releasing her single in the US soon.

Ok, while I don't think she is even close to Whitney Houston's vocal prowess, it is obvious from her singing she possesses musicianship. She has great vocal control and uses her head voice interchangeably with her full voice to great effect.
Not to mention: She is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Great figure, stunning looks and that accent.
Hope she makes it big in the US.

(PS I wonder why they didn't use the UK Video for her US Debut. It is SO much better. US Video is like any other R&B diva video. Done a hundred times)

good find for Clive Davis. In my opinion, though, Alicia Keys is the greatest musician first helped by Davis. And if anyone in the R&B world right now has the vocal talent comparable to Whitney Huston, it's Alicia Keys. Maybe Leona'll come close though.:)
