There are a lot of great match-ups this week:

Schalke - Porto 19/02 » 05/03 »

Roma - Real Madrid 19/02 » 05/03 »

Olympiacos - Chelsea 19/02 » 05/03 »

Liverpool - Inter Milan 19/02 » 11/03 »

Celtic - Barcelona 20/02 » 04/03 »

Lyon - Man. United 20/02 » 04/03 »

Fenerbahçe - Sevilla 20/02 » 04/03 »

The first date is the first leg and the second date the second leg.

I'm interested in how Celtic will fare against Barcelona.
I think the teams that are going through are:
Real Madrid
Chelsea
Inter Milan
Man. United
Sevilla (the way they played Arsenal)

The best match there is ARSENAL VS. AC MILAN

Who do you think will come out on top: The best England has to offer, or the defending champions?

Please don't vote for all 4..just one team, and one difference in goals.

Note: All matches are aggregrate (2 dates)

Arsenal just lost to Man. United, and I think Wenger knows what he's doing against the best teams now.

The best England has to offer?!?!?

Are you having a laugh???

Arsenal are going to get beaten by the "Geriatric Team, whose average age is over 40 ;)

I think it's quite obvious England has the best League at the moment and with Arsenal and Man United playing like they are (and with a team like Chelsea only considered as the "3rd" side in England it shows our strength)

The Champions League is so different to the domestic League though and Inter Milan haven't done too well over the past few years whilst Liverpool have so you could argue Liverpool are favourites to win that one (even though they are playing rubbish) same with Milan and Arsenal.. Arsenal are having a great season whilst Milan are only in 5th but the way Milan turn it on in the Champions League you would probably call them favourites.

If I was going to go for an upset though.. Roma to beat Real Madrid.

I know Materazzi is a bit of a headcase but how harsh was that sending off!

The first one wasn't a yellow card and a warning to calm down would of been justifiable for the second one.. you don't like to see games ruined by little incidents that get blown out of proportion.

I know that Fena...but...Man. United...7-1....

Chelsea beat Man City 6-0 earlier this year, it's not a reflection as to how good (or bad) a side is.

Liverpool won 8-0 earlier this year, Arsenal put 7 past a group opponent.
Results like this happen, it doesn't really mean anything other than one team had a good day and the other didn't.

If you remember, Roma beat Man United 2-1 in the first leg last year before the 7-1 result a matter of days later.. it's just what happens on the day.

A good side doesn't become a bad one because of 1 result.

I just wanna say: I knew Inter were going to show their true "losers" way...

I like inter, but I also like Rafa, and I have a feeling his job might be on the line on this....

I know, **** sake, it ruined the game, how could we attack, and then they get the lucky deflected goal , Julio was down for that one, aahhh!!!!

What a crucial goal by Tevez.......

I was kind of half watching the Arsenal game (had it on Picture in Picture), I think I'll watch it again tonight if I have trouble sleeping....

Ad3bayor showed some of his old form again, vintage stuff ;)

With some of the other results, we should have an interesting 2nd leg.... Can't wait.

Milan were impressive!

When you consider they are having a poor year domestically and an ever increasing average age of the squad... you'd think it would be hard for them to still compete right at the top of the European game but they turned it on again, much like Liverpool last night!

They really are Champions League specialists :)

I think it has alot to do with both teams not having much else to focus on, when you think about last year, Manchester United were in a fight for the League title right to the end of the season, in the FA Cup final, and had Champions League to focus on and they were tired and it showed in them losing 3-0 to Milan. Same with Chelsea losing to Liverpool, Liverpool had players rested whilst Chelsea couldn't do that as we were still going for the League, had the FA Cup final AND the Champions League to look towards.

That's my take on why Liverpool and Milan do so well.

Could well be!

The Arsenal performance was out of this world though, i'm not a big fan of Arsenal as they can be frustrating when they are trying to play little passes or set themselves up perfectly everytime, even when they have the chance to shoot they are looking to walk the ball into the net.

They were guilty of it last night aswell but they were just amazing overall.. they dominated Milan in their own stadium, they had 56% of possesion (how brilliant is that?!) and Flamini and Fabregas totally outplayed Gattuso and Pirlo. Even the Milan fans were clapping Arsenal after the match.

I certainly wouldn't fancy getting them int he draw for the next round, or Man Utd for that matter, and definitley not Liverpool after our recent European matches against them lol.

Fenebrahce, Schalke, Roma or Barcelona and i'll be feeling much better about things.
