I got my Wilson Classic 6.2 11 years ago. It was one of the most control oriented racquets from Wilson that time... 100% graphite...Why not to resurrect it in ncode version...

WOW ! The only racket that can compete with the Prestige . Looks like "they're" listening.

Yeah, there has been quite a bit of hype about the racket's revival. In 2 different tennis magazines that came out this week here in Japan featured them.

There is this store in Tokyo called Tennis Paradise. They have in stock mint and used Pro Staffs, Becker Winners and Supers, 200Gs, Borg Donnays, etc. One of the guys at the store there is always posting articles about classic rackets. I didn't take a good look at the current article, but there was a new post about the history of the Ultra 2 and PWS in general.

It's listed as having an "open price" and most new rackets are around 26,000 JPY. Being a limited edition of only 1000, it will probably sell for over 30,000 JPY or more.

Wilson company ,foundeed in 1914, revive the ULTRA 2 MID for the celebration of 90 years of the company.

To rereproduce it perfectly,Wilson remake the mold by tracing the racket.Because the design plans are missing. Wison has succeeded in reproducing it perfectly.
Only 1000 rackets will be sold. Every racket has serial numbers print.

Balance point 310mm for the 85, and 305mm for the 95. How many points is that ?

27 in racquet == midpoint at 13.5 in.
1 pt = 1/8 in.

310 mm / (25.4 mm/in) = 12.2 in.
12.2 - 13.5 = -1.3 in
-1.3 * (8 pts/in) = -10.4 pts ~= 10 pts HL

Thanks Craig.

That should make the 95 a 12 points HL racquet (-11.94 pts).
