I've done an extenisve search and still don't feel like I know the answer.
I play with the RD7 but had an opportunity to hit with the MP Tour 1 90 Mid for a week. I liked it alot, but wasn't crazy about the stringbed response. I felt like there were some dead spots. And since I felt like my RD7 had a more solid feel, I didn't switch. But 14 years with the RD7 is long enough: I want something lighter. I'm having trouble on those long clay rallies and I now S&V alot to finish points quicker -- so I want something in the yonex line that's a little more mobil -- and very low powered.
Here's the question:
Does the RDX 500 Mid have a noticeably more uniform stringbed response than the MP Tour 1 90? Is it more comfortable?
Feel free to share any general comparative comments that speak to both stringbed's feel off center.
