OK, I've read enough of the posts and threads here. There might have been numerous polls with same issue (then please ignore this poll. I just cannot resist anymore :D ).

Show your loyalty and devotion to your favorite racquet. But let's be flexible. If your favorite is PT280 or PC660, you may want to vote for PC600 (In other words, Team Head). If yours is a prostaff6.0 95 or tour90, vote for PS6.0 85 (Team wilson). If you prefer LB POG, vote for POGOS/MP (Team prince) and so on. If not sure, this is a 10 day poll. Take your time!

Team Wilson for me. HPS 6.1 has got me hooked, litterally. My serve caught my opponent in the chest after he tried to take it on his backhand. The ball bounced and kicked into his body, by which time he was already commited to a 2hbh. That game I only had to hit 6 shots, 4 unreturned serves, and 1 double fault

Oh-hot!

It was 1:2:0 around 3PM. Now (9PM PST), I can feel the heat between the Wilson tribe and the Head tribe. But let's wait...the team prince might come back!

5:11:11=P:W:H (by 9PM PST)

BTW, thejackal, 4 unreturned serves remind me of 1996 Sampras df. Becker Match (the very first game won by Boom Boom Becker. World championship final at Hamburg? Have you watched it?)

thejackal,

I believe HPS6.1 has 18 mains and has 68 stiffness rating. On the paper, it doesn't look like a spin friendly racquet. Does it give you plenty of spin?

I agree a flex of 68 coupled with 18 mains would make it hard to generate spin, though I know an i.prestige user whose topspin serves bounce at least 5' high and still are ascending at the baseline. However, the US version of the Classic/Hyper Pro Staff 6.1 has always had a 16 x 18. I think a 18 x 20 in such a stiff racket is mostly only good for clay courters that will generate spin no matter and that really want a higher level of durability. At least I couldn't generate enough spin with it as I would want. Usually Europe gets 18 x 20 patterns while the US gets 16 x 18, I think to suit the different court surfaces and playing styles.

I have not decided yet. Damn it, I need more than 10 days!!!

MY HPS is the 16x18 version. I switched from a (da-dun) Head racket because it didn't give me enough spin, even after natural tension loss and adding lead.

if it was for my life, i'd go back to my wilson pro staff classic 6.1. i may not be able to play afterward, but if my life depended on it i'd rather sacrifice my shoulder than my life.

Obviously, team Head is gaining momentum. Maybe because I asked if they have voted while I was posting a message in a PC600 related thread? Anyway, happy new year everyone and don't forget to vote...

[Update]
oh, the team Head is getting real close.

If my life really depended on it I'd use Smith & Wesson. Otherwise Wilson

For me, it would be 'Desert Eagle'.

Just kidding. I wonder if gun-lovers have any web forum like our beloved TW-board?

Thanks everyone who voted. We all know these are great racquets. I was surprised at Team Wilson's last moment pitch, too.

Even though the Head and Prince Racquets feel great and I have played in great matches with both kinds, Wilson edges out because the classic feel of there Prostaff 6.0. and the greatness of the new N-Code series. But they're all pretty close.
