No ;) It's old. I have had this avatar since I've was in 6th grade. Which was over a decade ago. It's kind of silly, but it's actually a truncated Homer Simpson quote. :D :D

iplaybetter
03-03-2008, 06:43 PM

YULitle

I say it as the iplaybetter says, just yulitle however looking at it properly now the "YU" are in capitals so it all makes sense.

IPB can you post a vid on you actually using the crank. I have only used/seen dropweights in operation

YULitle

iplaybetter: I like the method so far. It's a common variation of the Universal ATW pattern. A lot of the guys on GSS do it your way.

I did have one note. When you go to release your starting clamp from the outside of the frame, do it before you release the tension. This is better for the life of the string. the string slips through the starting clamp if there is tension still on it when you undo it. but, I have a feeling you know that? :D

Specific video!! Only needs to be short. You dont have to but it would be nice for me to see one in action. Maybe without all the camera movement:)

All you need is two tall stacks of something sturdy. A pole and a rubber band. :D That's essentially how all of my videos were shot.

hey i play better, in the next video, when you have the racket mounted, can you jiggle up and down on the racket handle. I would like to see something. My machine makes a noise in some angles. Also, you know the long silver backbone looking thing that the crank is on, can you move that left and right. my machine can and i want to know if its normal. BTW, i have a Revo 4000 also if you didn't get it. lol

iplaybetter

hey iplaybetter, when you mount a racquet on the revo 4000, how far is it in the air above the black base? And are there any positions where the stringing machine jiggles up and down a bit?

iplaybetter
