Will Fischer ever produce a stick with a dense string pattern? 16 vertical strings is the max it seems.

I have always found their 16x20 patterns to be "the best of both worlds" since they have very consistent string beds (like 18x20's) while still providing PLENTY of spin potential (16 mains...flexible) and a decent improvement in string durability when compared with 16x19 98's.
I wouldn't "fix" something that was not broken in the first place.

That's still 16x20...and from what I understand the 16 mains are the OP's point.

well, 16 mains with a 90 sq inch head is dense too I admit however im not interested in those small headsizes. 95 or bigger for me

I agree...I love the fischer string pattern...even from top to bottom (for players like me who hit up high) and just the right amount of spin/control/power.

The string patters could not be any better..
