For those non-polyester users, what would you choose from these three options and why?
Prompted by the great discussion in the thread titled “Closest to gut?”

Option 1 – Premium multifilament full string job ($18 – $21.50)
Your choice of:
Babolat XCel Power
Wilson K Gut or K Gut Pro

Option 2 – Quality mid priced gut hybrid ($14 - $17)
Main string choice of:
Babolat Tonic
BDE Performance
Klip Legend

Cross string choice of:
Forten Sweet
Gosen OG Micro
Prince Synthetic Gut Original or Duraflex

Option 3 – Premium playability gut hybrid ($19 - $20)
Main string choice of:
Babolat VS
Pacific Prime

Cross string choice same as Option 2

Personally, I can't really tell the difference between Tonic and VS gut when in the same gauge. The 17g vs definetly is best but the 16g vs feels the same to me as the 16g tonic.

That being said, When I do a gut hybrid, I use it on the main (usually tonic)with a soft multi. Personally, I find some of the cheaper multis play just fine in hybrids.

So tonic and prince SG (the soft version is my favorite) or the OG sheep works well. I also like super fineplay.
