help choosing a new cross string

need some help choosing a new cross string,currently using pht main with nxt cross.i love the feel but the nxt is killing my budget, looking for a multi that lasts longer than nxt or a soft syn gut that plays well.

Soft synthetic gut = Pro Supex Synthetic Gut Titan. Don't know about the durability yet, but it is pretty cheap stuff.
