Does anybody use this string? I would appreciate if you guys could give feedback on it.

Also, if possible could you compare it to PSGD and/or Gamma SynthGut and/or Forten Sweet?

Thanks a lot :D

This string plays pretty good, for such a low price it is a great deal.

Over time this string has gotten, well, pretty mixed reviews in the forum. And I found it broke rather quickly, myself, too.

it is the softest SyntGut i have used or seen so far, great for hybrid setups
i am using it on my crosses with technifiber poly on the mains
people say they cannot pull over 60lbs because it will break in their string machine, so when i pulled at 63lbs i was carefull and have not had trouble as of yet
the string is a little soft for the people who like the stiffer feel of the gosen og micro, another 17g i have
i also have 16g forten and i thought that was soft until i got the technifiber 17g synthetic gut

yeah, i got 2 similar racquets strung with technifiber super poly 16Lgg @ 55lbs on mains, and technifiber synthetic gut 17gg @ 58lbs on crosses

Has anyone here tried at 65 lbs, preferrably with a dropweight?

no, thats a bit tight, at that tension you need to learn to control the ball without the strings being that high, i used to string up there and then i learned how to play better and dropped my tension, i am now a better player because of this

ive gone as far as 63lbs, and thats because i also string this at 58lbs but ont helast 2 mains or crosses i up the tension using my dropweight an extra 5lbs, but i got to tell you, everytime i go over 60 i am causious of this tstring because of what people have said that it snaps at arround 60 lbs, its a very soft string, would not surprice me if it snapped one day at that tension
my question Mansewerz, is why you wanna string that high with this string?

my guess is that he cant control the ball without it, as i have mentioning in my previous post

a couple of nice synthetic guts i have come across for mains (cheap), are gosen og micro 17g (my first choise),
but i would also say babolat superfine play at 17g, i have the babolat 16g and its ok and it holds maintenace ok, but maybe because its 16g i did not see the spin, using a 17g how ever should feel as good as the gocen og micro, both these strings, i would cross with the technifiber strings

Less durable than PSGD, I use it for a cross in a poly job or for my Senior non string breakers. I have had no breakage issues with my crank or my electronic machines.

what was your max tension on these setups you used? mine is max 63lbs and i also only use this string for crosses with the poly mains @ 53lbs and Technifiber SG @ 58lbs

I use it in the 17 gauge on my Dunlop 500 tour at 62 lbs.I have re strung with it a few times from 55 to 64 lbs,I have found that 62 lbs is ideal for my Racquet.

i've strung it at 65 on my dad's old Prince Boron 110.

No problems there :D

I've lowered my tension to 60 and will see how it plays. My racquet's recommended tension is 55-65
