I may already be holding it in the RDX500mid once I change the strings to a multi, but anyway, here's my thought for a dream racket:

The specs for the Yonex Ti70 88, enlarged to 95sq.in., with a 16x19 stringing pattern. I actually think 95sq.in. is ideal, a bit more control than a 98sq.in., but more hitting area than 90. Strung weight of 12.3oz, 6 pts headlight. Color: dark navy blue with purple/red . Name ? NSX1 (after the Acura sports car).

That would be *awesome*.

'98 Radical Tour OS with a 16x19 string pattern.

98 square inches, 27 inch length, 335 grams, 8 points HL, 315 swing weight, 62 stiffness rating, between 18 and 21 mm, 16x19 string pattern, hexagon cross section, super metal IPS at 3 and 9 o'clock, and flex/torsion control shaft!!!

Oh wait a minute, that's the exact specs of the Yonex RDX-500 Midplus - ALL RIGHT!!!

I would like to add to that a 17g natural gut that never frays, never breaks, and never loses it's playability :)

TripleB, I'm happy for you. You simply had to get away from that POG, which is an awful stick in my opinion. The RDX is 100x times better than the POG.

I did a little side by side comparison of the RDX-500 Midplus and the POG mid today. I'm not sure how I ever played with the POG mid - don't get me wrong, I have had TREMENDOUS (probably much better than I deserve) success with the POG mid. But when comparing them side by side the RDX just feels 100 times more solid. I never noticed it while playing with it but the POG mid also has a 'ping' to it when I hit the ball - may be that the POG mid has a poly/syn hybrid in it and the Yonex has Wilson NXT Max 16.

The thing that really sold me on the RDX-500 Midplus is that in two days it put a shot in my arsenal that I've been trying to add for about 31 years. The heavy topspin crosscourt forehand with tremendous angle. I've NEVER been able to hit this shot and over the last two days I've hit it time after time after time. I'm not sure if it's the maneuverability or what but this shot just feels natural with the Yonex.

The incredibly more solid feel at net doesn't hurt either :)

I would love to have the POG in the 95 sq. in head with 16x18 pattern and flex rating of 63. It's like the offspring of PS 95 and POG.

The Wilson PS 6.0 90, like what Federer really uses.

The specs I'd like to see on the PS 6.0 90 would be:

Head: 90 sq. in.
Weight: 12.3 oz. (strung)
Swingweight: 321
Balance: 10 pt. HL
Beam Width: 18 mm
Composition: 80% Braided Graphite/ 20% Kevlar with just a sprinkle of nCode
Length: 27 in.
String Pattern: 16 x 19
Flex: 64
Grip: Leather

Dream racquet, period!

Ana & her racquet. Or Sharapova & her racquet. Or Williams & her racquet.

Well, racquets can be ommited. Just Williams would have to promise me she will not bit me up.

I would like a nice 50/50 graphite fiberglass construction with a stiffness of 40, that way it would be like playing with a catapult. Oh, for other specs, please view signature.

*edit* WHA?! no sigs?!

Pro Staff 6.0 90 that is pretty close to the specs as the 85 except beam width of 18 mm, balance shifted 0.5 cm up, and only 12.5 ounces. Only graphite/Kevlar. 16 x 18, not 16 x 19. As close as you can get to a "St. Vincent 90." With the same really matte black cosmetic, just stretched out. Fed's racket in my grip size would be really cool, too, but dump the white paint.

I like the frame that I use. I've been playing for about 20 years, a teaching coach and tournament player. I mostly play recreationally now. The i Prestige mid has been my favorite racquet of all time. I string it with Powergy 16 at 56lbs.
