View Full Version : Luxilon Fluoro AND ???

Sorry if this has been gone over before - I searched the forum for this but didn't see a match off the bat. So, I just got some Fluoro b/c I have heard good things about Luxilon, but now I'm a little worried to string a full bed of this given the reports about tennis elbow. I know the Fluoro is supposed to be a bit softer - so should I just string the whole bed or would you add a different string to the mains or crosses? If so, what would you string with and which (mains/crosses) would you use? I'm currently working with a solid baseline game and trying to add a stronger volley game - if that makes a difference as to which strings you'd use.

Thanks in advance for your help! I love this forum!!

do you have any experience with polys? Fluoro is softer than the other Lux strings. You can also try to hybrid it with a syntheitc gut like Gosen or PSGD.

protennis63 what do you like about pro supex big ace 17? can you compare it to a luxilon main/PSGD cross like you were mentioning?
