Does such a sleeve affect the angles of the bevels?

In other words, does your handle feel more round?

When applying one sleeve it has a very mild effect on the bevels. Any more and it can become quite pronounced.

I took and built up two racquets for a friend from 2 (4-1/8 ) to 5 (4-5/8 ). I used balsa wood and in the end it only added an 1/8 of an ounce to the weight. The bevels were just a sharp as the originals. :)

Yeah, the USRSA recommends that you not use more than 2 to maintain your bevels.

I've gotten surprisingly great results from using just one sleeve for a build-up, but if I needed to go up a couple of sizes on a grip, the balsa wood might be the smarter option for keeping the racquet balance from altering too much.

I found that the half size just barely rounds the bevels. However, the full size rounds them much more than I like. It also seemed like the full size sleeve made the overall feel of the grip rounder (for example: a head grip shape feels more like a prince grip shape).
