Hi scored this clamp off a retired stringer from our club. Could it be used as a starting clamp? Ive got a Gamma X-2.

Looks like its a spare part for mounting on a machine but is there any reason it couldnt be used as a standalone clamp?

Any other suggestions on its possible applications??

apologies for dumb questions, stringing noob here:oops:
cheers
Maurice

Could be used as a starting clamp if it held tension well enough, not all swivel clamps do.

That is a sick looking clamp though. Hang on to it until you upgrade your X2. If it doesn't work out as a starting clamp, I could give it a nice home. :D ;)
