Natural Gut and Weather

I think i want to give natural gut a shot, but i'm not sure about all the stuff related to weather.
I know that it plays differently depending on the weather, but could someone be more specific? Like what is different? (i mostly care about when its humid)
I suppose playing in the rain is not a good idea, but i don't really play in the rain...
I live in Southwest PA and the weather can change alot, all year long.

When the gut get wet,it just lose tension so badly and lost the bite and control.

So never put your gut string near any water .Avoid playing in high humidty condition is also a good idea.

Hi. basically gut plays less lively and spongier w. more dwell time when it is humid. unless your stringjob is old, that is only temporary
If it is hot and dry, your stringbed will feel more jumpy and crisp.
Gut plays a bit differently with each outing.
You really dont want to play w. gut when it is wet out

I noticed that it is much more lively when it is humid and hot.

Also, it breaks 6x faster when playing on hardtru or clay especially when playing with spin.

Is playing a freshly watered clay court bad when using gut?

I broke a fresh string job over the course of one tournament which lasted 3 days but was 4 matches. Match times were 1.25 hours, 2 hours, 1.75 hours, 1 hour.
