View Full Version : Stringing a prestige one or two strings
I brought my Microgel prestige today to the stringer. Unfortunatly my own stringingmachine isn't delivered yet. But he strung my prestige with one string and not two. Is this a bad thing?

Is it the Mid or Mid Plus, if so then its best to do a two piece with this racket as you will string hoop to throat as opposed to throat to hoop in a one-piece.
If it's the Pro then im not sure as i haven't strung one of these yet.
Hey Yulittle do you have something to say about this. Is it really harmfull for the frame to do a one-piece instead of a two-piece job on a MG prestige MidPlus.

He could have strung it ATW...there is nothing you can do now (it wont harm the racket leaving them in...the stress is during stringing)...just remember to string it 2 piece when you get your stringer.

Head recommends 2 piece, and I personally use 2 piece, but I don't think that stringing it 1 piece once is going to damage the frame.
Just don't crack the frame and try and return it to Head strung. ;)

general rule is to string crosses top to bottom
