View Full Version : I just broke my strings.

I just broke my Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 16 strings in my Dunlop Aerogel 200. They lasted me about 20 days. How do I go about cutting them out? I'm not a racquet stringer so I wouldn't know. I appreciate the help. Can I just pull the strings out of the string hole?

why don't you just take your racquet to ur local pro shop and let them do it for you?
I would cut them out as soon as possible unless you want your local stringer to diagnose what happened.

The aerogels are solid frames. Don't worry too much about cutting out the strings yourself if you don't string your own racquets. Cutting strings ruins most cutting utensils over time. Even though regular scissors are usable, and wire cutters are usable, use something more durable like garden cutters. Once you've cut the strings yes you should take out the strings. Don't try to unstring the racquet by the way.
