So yesterday we had our High School Divisional Championships in Hawaii.
There were about lets say 20 schools there, all participating to qualify for states.
My team and I show up there, and realize that practically everyone there has a huge tennis bag. I myself have a Babolat 6 Pack Bag.
But all I brought was my 2 Nblades and a Billabong Backpack with some one extra shirt, some liquid bandage, icy hot, and a book. My team mates as well, just brought a non tennis company bag and their 2 respective racquets.
So while we were there, we thought to ourselves, wow we must be from the underground..
Anyone else show up to tournaments like how we did?

All I have is 2 head flexpoints and I bring them in a small head 2-3 pack bag. I do lots of USTA and almost all of my opponents have huge bags. The only people that didnt just brought 2 rackets and a water. Sometimes I think they underestimate me because I have a small bag.

Some kids have big bags to make others think they are better then they actually are.

preparation is key to supporting match play. If you bring everything that yu could poosibly ever use under any circumstance you would need a large bag. when you are playing out of town or state you cant have mommy and daddy run home to get a extra pair of shoes shoelaces, tylenol, sprain bandage clothing etc.

My partner and I ended up playing one of the top seeds in the tournament.
We play 3rd doubles, and our 1st doubles lost to the team we played earlier in the year 0-6 and 1-6.
Me and my partner lost 3-6 1-6, so I actually take that as a win for myself.
I've only been playing for about 4-5 months, and the team I played were both all tournament players for practically their whole life. They're seniors as well, and i'm a sophomore, so yea it really is my win...

erg big bags, are just so unneccessary.
I just carry two rackets, in a six pack babolat, with ALOT OF WATER BOTTLES.
I get thirsty XD
Well I shove my homework and stuff in it so I need a 12 pack even though I carry 2 rackets.
Babolat team line 12 pack-
1st thermo compartment - Homework
2nd thermo compartment - 2 rackets
middle pocket - Gatorade, shoes, clothing, etc.
Side pocket - cell phone, ipod

I do have my stuff in another small billabong backpack.
Advil, icy hot, and liquid bandage, as well as a book and sometimes hmwk.
Sometimes 1 extra shirt depending on how hot it is.
But my racquets are in my hand, and a cooler in the other.

Well when I was younger I found myself using a big bag with everything in it, as I used to break strings like crazy before I got a string sponsorship from Pro Supex (great strings).
On second though, I still use my big back for all things USTA, but for highschool I just take two rackets out and use them. Doesn't matter if you have a bag or not, it's how you play. One time, I didn't have a water bottle, so I used a brand new (so it was clean) plastic gasoline can and filled it with the hose. This was a bullfrog tourney, and my opponent almost laughed me off the court when we got on. Needless to say, I won 4 and 4, and ironically enough the gas can came in handy on the way home when I ran out of gas half a mile from the gas station.
I've got the babolat 9 pack.
Thermoguard Side: 3 racquets
Bigger Side: Barricade V's in the shoe bag that came with it, An Adidas "backpack type" minibag for all my clothes, My team issued adidas warmups and uniform, 3 canisters of wilson tennis balls, and finally 2 water bottles, and 1 gatorade.
Side Pocket: overgrips, cell, wallet, wristbands, and Fruit Snacks!
-I have the 2nd largest bag on the team...its not even that big though. (thats what she said!) :)

Lol, I think the bag might have an opposite effect, making me seem smaller than I actually am. Doesn't matter, I win anyway.

haha i got a prostaff backpack wit 3 rackets, cloths for overnight matches and maybe some extra grips.
the rest of my team carrys their rackets in hand and a water. haha our number 3 seed never can keep a strung racket cause he's always breaking it so he just uses whoevers.

Babolat, u bring 4 racquets?
Is it cause of the tension difference(like in Winning Ugly tips), or do u pop the strings that much?
Haha i love seeing small kids carry bags that are literally their size( i think those are the largest size)
...even though they MAY use it since they are highly ranked.
Doesnt you're back hurt?
