View Full Version : Kinetic Pro 5G vs Kinetic 5G - Can anyone help me spot which one this racquet is?

I've found this racquet thinking it was a 'Kinetic Pro 5G' as the ones selling in Tennis Warehouse but with a different paint job, but now I believe it's a slightly different model. It looks exactly like a 'Kinetic 5G' as shown in the Pro Kennex website, but is still called the 'Kinetic Pro 5G' (As shown in photo...if they show up). I was wondering if you guys could help me identify exactly what this, and if it is NOT the Pro 5g, what are its specs and, in general, is it a good racquet?

If the photos do not show up, my main point is that it although it looks like just a kinetic 5G, is there any chance because it's got kinetic pro 5g written on it, it's an older pro 5G

That's curious. It has "most" of the look of the Ki 5. I think that's what it is. (The "old" 5G is different.)

It certainly isn't the same paint job as the old Pro 5G. Maybe someone else can help....

Oh yeah you're right KK, it is an ionic 5G. I just wasn't totally familiar with the PK range, just knew of the classic 5G pro. Next time i should look more closely at TW's stock

The Ki5 paint job is definitely yellow, not gold, but KK is right - it has the same kind of look as the Ki 5. Maybe it was produced for your market but not the US? Or maybe it's a little heavier than the Ki 5 - maybe an intermediate between the Ki 5 and the Ki 5 PSE.
