i know there's a thread about rackets and tennis elbow, but i don't know if all that applies the same to wrist pain. basically, i started to develop pretty bad wrist pain when i switched from my dunlop m-fil 500 to the wilson nPro open. i switched because i wanted a heavier racket with a smaller head size. i bought a yonex RDS 003 over the winter. i used it for the first time this past weekend and the wrist pain is back. the yonex has a stiffness rating of 65, while the wilson is 68 and dunlop is 66. could it be that i can't handle an 11oz racket? or should i try an even heavier racket so that i get more stability and plow through? any suggestions?

Do you think your wrist form is stable? If it's flimsy a heavier racket will only hurt. I learned this from experience :(

Just weight-train your wrist, and temporarily harden it a bit when u play until you're used to new racket and/or improve your form.

I even bought a wrist wrap but that thing only helps during the first few games and then it slips back.

part of it could relate to the motion, espcially when your switing you wrist is adapting.
I wouldnt reccommend going to an even heavier racket. I would possibly wait and let your wrist adapt depending on long you've been playing with dunlop that hurt your wrist.
Also could twick your strokes and make it more comfortable

If your strokes are already of proper form then check your grip size. May be another layer (or two) of overgrip can help ease your problem.

^^^its also possible that your grip is too big
