I play with an old ProStaff 6.0 95 that I bought in 1992. I'd like to get another like it, but the current 6.0 95 just doesn't feel the same. It seems lighter weight and just a less "solid" feeling frame. Anybody have any suggestions for a similar racquet? nCode95, maybe?

Ash,
I have one that is probably very similar to what you are playing with right now. It is one of the old versions of the PS 6.0 95. It has the original white butt cap. It is in very good condition. Let me know if you would like some more information to see if it is what you are playing with...
I know what you mean regarding the new vs. the old. I hit with a few new ones and they just are not the same. This is why I have always kept this one.

The LM Prestige midplus feels similar.

That's very interesting because I find the exact opposite to be true. My older PS 6.0 95's with the white butt caps seem to play lighter and more flexible, and just a bit less solid to me than my newer ones with the black butt caps, which seem heavier and stiffer to me. Of course, it could be that over time, the older racquets have become a bit softer, and thus, more flexible feeling. Maybe it's like a fine wine in which you have to age it to obtain the optimum flavor or playability? I can't explain the lighter weight of the older ones, though.

gamma 9.5. specs very similar. difference: gamma has a very solid upper hoop and the most even stringbed that I've played. no torque, no twist. has surreal combination of stability and manuverability. 18mm makes it so easy to move. nothing compares on volleys. check ****...

I have the same experience with Breakpoint, I have both and the new one just feel and play more solid than the older white butcap version.

The Wilson N-6-1 95 to me feels similar. I never played with the older Prostaff 95 though so I can't make a comparison there. But compared to the new Prostaff 95 I feel they play similar. The only thing I found was that it was harder to go for winners with the new N-Code 95. Hope I helped.

Would also agree with Breakpoint, but no big deal. You feel what you feel. Have a look at the Volkl C10 Pro ... as close as I got with another frame.
