I just picked one of these up for 30 bucks and it is in fantastic condition.
Does anyone know anything about this racquet? It reminds me of a Hazel Streamline.
It's brown and very smooth. I believe it's mostly wood.
On the side of the throat it states:
Fiberglass: Multidirectional fiberglass faces epoxy resin cured.
Wood: Ash core frame with 5 laminates.
Vulcan Fiber: Inside, outiside frame and open throat
It's also states: Made in Belgium on the other side of the throat.
The head size is standard (Max). It may even be smaller. I compared it back to back against a Bancroft Players Special and it's a bit smaller and more oval.
The weight is 12.8 oz. and it is 7pts. H.L.
The grip is made of leather but it's a very rough leather. Not the smooth leather we see today. It looks like it's meant to perform as a grip and overgrip.
I'll post pictures of it later.
Any info would be appreciated.
