My daughter got her first on Christmas. She is 21 months old. It is her favorite gift (and believe me she got plenty).

A matching outfit and a matching racquet... she'll be ruling the USTA toddler section for sure. Might want to get her signed up w/ IMG after you get her a shoe deal... :-P

I got my first tennis racquet at age 6. I'm 28 now so I'm been playing for awhile :)

Man time has really changed. My first tennis racquet was a full lenght 27". I don't think there were kid's racquets back then.

I was 11, it was a 28" OS Wilson Kmart Special. About 2 years later I got my first 'real' racquet, a Wilson Hammer 5.0 28". I think I got it because I liked the colors. I have only had 4 different racquets in my 8.5 years of playing.

On my 6th birthday. Wilson Jack Kramer Autograph. I used that model of racquet for 22 years.
