It's a forum search tool. He thought if he wore it for his matches, tennis fans would be more encouraged to use it.

Teasing you, Lee. I've seen a few different answers for this, don't think anyone really knows for sure. He's had it since Estoril and I think it is an insect sting/bite of some sort, but others have speculated its some sign that he is still fighting the virus in his body. There was a very long thread devoted to this topic about a week ago, but people posted some gross photos and videos of other types of skin afflictions and it is not for those with weak stomachs. :)

That is a sign that his body is still fighting with some kind of virus. It is an infection.

^^^finally a logical answer. His immune system is preoccupied and stuff like that happens when this is the case.

I thought he was asked about that at a press conference but an still not sure what he said, if anything. This blemish stays on his face much longer, there will be questions about it, for sure.

What if its a botfly? Its likely they are abundant and people get them alot when they travel. Judging by its healing rate I think its likely. Also his immune system is wekak so it could be an infection related to his mono.

It looks like a cyst. If that is the case, it might have to be surgically removed.

Insect bites do not leave a bump that big nor would they last 2 weeks.

It is probably a cyst or boil.

You need a comma before "people", Storm. Let's hope your strokes aren't this sloppy.

I just thought it was a phenomenally large and deep-rooted zit. As to it being a botfly, that kind of thing happens to travelers in jungles and 3rd world countries where the medical help is pathetic at best. The chance of Fed's face being inhabited by a botfly is about as likely that Ms. Winehouse will head up a charm school this week. Fed has $$millions at his disposal, has the best medical attention available, and was in Monte Carlo this week. Monte Carlo is not the type of place with a botfly infestation. A goldigger infestation, yes, but not botflies.

So I'm guessing you're not buying the leprosy theory, either.

If I had to venture a guess, I would say it's the commentators of yesterdays match who have collectively inserted themselves so far up Fed's rectum and they are trying to get out.

When Rafa beat him in Monte Carlo he should've gotten double the points b/c he was facing two people; Roger and his twin brother:)
