Hey there, I was wondering if there were any general guidelines or rule of thumb that I should follow for buying a used racket. One of my buddies just started playing tennis, and she's offering me her current racket because it's too heavy for her. Since she's inexperienced though, she asked me what I would offer for it, but I don't want to rip her off or sell myself short.

So... Reply, please :D

It's a Prince NXG Graphite in 6/10 or 7/10 condition.

Btw, I was also wondering if this is a decent racket, when I played with it a few months ago it didn't feel too bad; can I assume that it's just a copy of the Prince Original graphite?

I'm thinking around $40 or $50 is a reasonable price for it, it's a fairly old racket.

Thanks for all of the replies guys! :)

Is the NXG not such a great racket? I mean it wasn't an orgy in my hand or anything when I was hitting with it, but it wasn't TOO bad.
What's your input?
