Do any of you ride your bikes carrying a 9 pack? I'm thinking that my bag might be too big to use when I ride my bike but I wanted to check and see if anyone has any experience riding around with a big bag.

Some neighbors around here have some old grass courts that haven't been cared for in probably 10 years, but I'm going to start riding my bike over there to practice my serve.

Do you guys carry them backpack style or using one shoulder strap? I'm afraid that if I wear it backpack style it might hang too low & if I wear it messenger style it might slip to the side and pull me off balance.

I've tried riding a bike with my bag and it never works.

I wear it backpack style. Before I used a six pack with one shoulder strap but this was way too heavy when I crammed it full of stuff. After a ride of 45 minutes I started to feel my shoulder. A bag with back pack function is more comfortable.

I have a 9pack yonex tournaments bag... I dont use it when i bike though... half self concious and half thinking it's not practical. It's really windy here so I have so i half expect it to knock me over... haha. And it's heavy... don't feel like lugging it around.

Coincidentally, I don't really like any of the tennis backpacks they sell, but my laptop backpack works really well for tennis. the laptop padded compartment can hold 3 thin beamed rackets without much fuss..

I've seen someone wear a regular backpack and just hang their raquet on one of the handle bars.

Hey I only ride with a 6pack bag with backpack shoulder straps and it's pretty easy.. What I do is shorten the straps so that the bag feels tight and secure on you and when you ride....no problems, and your bag won't touch your rear wheel if you shorten the straps.

I have the Yonex Pro Series 9 pack and the straps are way too long to make the bag very secure on my back in either backpack or messenger mode. I think that I may just have to invest in a backpack for when I'm on my bike. :(

A backpack is going to be the best choice no matter what. I am a USCF cat 2 cyclist so I do a lot of riding. Anything that could potentially hang down lower than the hollow of your back is unsafe to ride with for more than a few miles. A dedicated backpack is best for any extended period of riding.
