I was just thinking about top level juniors, and wondering what racquets are popular. Racquets with alot of "pop" as it is called, or control. Just throw some out there and if possible the name/rank of the person!:)

technifibres are big(only reason might be one of coaches at my club is sponered by technifibre and he gets the top ranked juniors at the club preffered player packages
so are babolats (aero pro drive w/wo cortex, babolat pure drive cortex standard, babolat pure storm tour )
wilson(k six one team, i know a few kids who use the k blade tour)
head ( microgel radical and extreme pro)

I hit with the pure storm tour at the moment. Was considering checking out the kblade or ksix one 95. Not sure though :)

All the top guys in ABQ and everywhere else seem to be using the K90 or K95. 95% of them shouldn't be. As for the ones who actually know what racquet they are suited for, APD and PDR are really popular. I've seen exactly 2 other juniors in all of Albuquerque use a dunlop, and none in the whole STATE OF NM use an AG200.

I love my PST, but i would like to try out a 95 or less headsize. How do the k95,Rqis tour 1 compare to each other and the PST, i would like to try out dunlops and such but my racquet club is all about babolat and some wilson racquets as well.

why does it matter what your club carries? maybe i misinterpreted and maybe you mean that everyone at your club uses babolat and wilson? in that case, I would say that you should play with whatever racquet you play best with, not what everyone else is using.

Slight misenterpretation. I meant i cannot demo some of the new kfactors, yonex and other brand racquets because my club is all about babolat.

oooh, i see. well, I demoed like 8 racquets from TW for only like 40 bucks last summer. Its a good program cause you get a whole week to try them out.

Well alot are using the Head microgels, the green ones and orange ones.
I've seen some top players from the easter bowl play with a kblade 98, and Thompson Clay, who is very good, uses one.
I also see alot of k six one teams going on, but those rackets have like zero power, which is good, sometimes bad.
I noted that some other top players are using babolat pure storms, the one fernando gonzales plays with.
Basically, there is a large variety.
I WOULD SAY: GET ONE FOR YOU. YOU SHOULDN'T CARE ABOUT THIS STUFF BUT IT'S NICE TO GET AN IDEA.
GO WITH WHAT IS BEST!~~~~:D

That is also very applicable to top juniors in my area.
Babolats. Mostly Pure Drive, occasionally I see an APD or APDC.
And the others use poser frames (or at least the ones that can't wield them).
You know, the 3.0s who have 1-20 records that use K90s.
Well, I guess 3.0s are exactly "top juniors" ( ;) )...

No this is not really for me i was just curious. I just cant decide between my Pure storm tours and the kblade tour, they are both so sweet!

Most of the native Bollettieri juniors use Prince, they get a good deal from them, tried to get me to switch when I was down there.

This weekend i was at a regional tournament of 14 and 18. The huge majority use Babolat, then comes Prince, TF, a few Wilsons and just one Head.
