Anyone in the playoffs? If so, how does your draw look?
Our first match is away on Monday. We get out of school at 12:30 and I'm hoping we get a win.

Varies from state to state, in North Carolina it is 6 singles and 3 doubles.

in ct, it varies from county to county, division by division, etc. where i am, in the FCIAC, it goes 5 singles, 2 doubles. for the play offs, what we call FCIAC's, it goes first team to 4 wins, then they win. for states, its just one huge tournament, you either play singles or doubles depending on what your coach wants you to do.
In Minnesota we refer to them as sections.
We switched sections so I don't know. We got some really strong teams in our new section though. We still are about a week out from them though. We have 4 singles and 3 doubles.

during season we play 6 singles and 3 doubles, and same if you go into "playoffs" as a team.
but you have to pick either singles or doubles in the tournaments--of the six people on the teams, you have to have 2 singles players and 2 double teams.

im in middle school tennis and we just started our season and so far we r 1-0
unfortunately the reg. season is real small and we only play 4 games b4 the top 2 teams are decided to play out the championship
also there is a separate tournament for schools including private schools unlike the tournament before mentioned
and this is a tournament out of 8

In California, is it 4 singles 3 doubles for the whole state? Or does it vary by district as well?

In Mississippi, we have 2 BD, 2 GD, Mixed, Singles. We play on Wednesday in a team championship, and on Thursday my doubles partner and I play for the individual state championship.

our team counties tournament is this week as well.. runs from monday thru thursday. all of our players are seeded 3 or higher, so we shouldn't have a hard time

we have 3 matches left in the regular season which we are expected to win so we'll most likely end 15-4...we'll be a top 5 seed if we're lucky but defintly top 10. our format is 3 singles and 2 dubs

guess what guys my team is going to the regional finals! lol it's not that big of an accomplishment since we only won two matches in single A all year. But still, our 3-10 have all played their first season. They had not picked up a racquet three months ago and now they get their serves in, get the ball back in play and hit the ball good. We have no chance at regionals since the team we play beat the fool out of the team that beat us. Well atleast we all get a trophy:)
