There's a post today from someone who says "my LM Prestiges have arrived" and one from someone who says he's "sitting here with a V-engine 10," and neither of them has hit with the thing. I realize we live in the Age of Narcissism among the generation that was never weaned (take a look around on the street and see how many people are carrying a water bottle) but it would never occur to me that people would be interested to know I'd gotten a racquet in the mail or picked one up from a dealer. Because they wouldn't.

Just for the record, this man does not speak for all of us.

Don't read into it too much, they are excited and maybe wrongfully thought others would share their enthusiasm. You people are just jealous! j/k

sorry i apparently upset you guys with my post. i wouldnt normally post that, but my whole point for posting was i hadnt see anyone really give any actual input on the racquet, and if you will notice there is plenty of info now.
whatever, god forbid someone put up something besides....."what racquet should i get?" or "which racquet out of these?"

Im more annoyed with people that when explaining their style of play to "us", they have to throw in that they have a "Big Serve".. That phrase goes hand in hand with "how much you bench".. totally annoying, and probably not that big anyway..
whatever, god forbid someone put up something besides....."what racquet should i get?" or "which racquet out of these?"
Yes, God forbid someone who is seeking advice should ask the more experienced members of the board for their learned opinions, hence, using the board for what it was made for-as a comprehensive resource for tennis players...no, we would all prefer hear an account of your daily activities:
"Hey, guys, got a racquet here. Sitting right here-yeah, that baby is looking GOOD...gonna get me some with that today! Gonna use it soon. Eating a PB & J sandwich now...little milk, just right...now I'm packing my racquet bag, oh and guys, that's a Babolat 12-pack if you MUST know...hey...guys, oh yeah, going out now. Opening the door...Wha...oops, just got hit in the face with the daily newspaper-gosh that kid has an arm-I think Boston's interested in him (wipes blood off of lip with wrist band)...hey guys, I'm outside now, going to play now. Talk to you when I get back...see ya..."
I'm just pulling your chain, buddy. Lighten up-you gave a racquet review and your time in doing so should be appreciated by those curious about this racquet. Of course, everything else I said IS true...

By the way. Just checked the status of my LM Prestige MP. It was shipped yesterday and is schedualed for delivery on the 26th. I check with UPS and it is on time for those who would be worried if I will have it ready for play this weedend. I have a court schedualed for Sat around 1pm if anyone wants to check me out to see how I play with it. I am a 4.5 player with a big serve and a western forehand and two handed backhand. I bench 250lbs, I will add 24grams of lead to it. I goes very well with my new tennis outfit, which I picked out thinking I will be using that racquet soon. I wish I looked like RF on the court but I am afraid I will look like Rene Richards.
