Boston College Tennis

Didn't know where exactly to post this type of thread so it'll start here. Anybody know what level you have to be to play at boston college? Apparently it's not a very good tennis school for division 1. I'd really like to go there and play tennis, but I'd like to know how good I have to be to make the team. Thanks

at least 4.5, probably 5.0. I know a few members of the team and it isn't that they are bad, just that everybody else they play against fills their rosters with guys who were top 10 nationally coming out of high school

I agree with the last guy. There may be a few 4.5s on their team but they are rarely seeing any playing time, most likely none at all. I saw their team practicing 2 years ago on spring break in Ft. Myers, Florida and they were a very good team. Just like the guy before me said, they aren't bad, the rest of their conference/teams on the schedule are just stacked.

playing at BC would be nice...with my grades i have no shot at getting in there tho

the coach can help u get in if u might not be able to. they dont have scholarships but can help u get in if ur good enough to play there

really? i turned seventeen last november and don't have a ranking right now in New England (rotator cuff injury) but I just got to the finals of a pretty big challenger event in Florida. I'm at least a 4.5, but I mean there are a lot of 4.5-5.0 juniors so i'm not really sure how i stand. Even if i can't play tennis there, my gpa is a 3.7 with an sat score of 2100 so maybe i can get in with that.

Not sure about Boston college but Boston U got trounce by Stanford today 7-0 and scores were pretty much blow out. I hope their men's program is little better

haha boston u's team is horrible. how did they even make it to ncaa tourney? bc's team is wayyy better

no bc is in the acc so they didnt make it because they didnt win their league tourny. i think bu made it because theyre in the america east and won their league tourny
