I am about to demo some racquets from TW, so any racquet suggestions would be helpful. I am a 3.5 high school player, modern semi western forehand, 2HBH, all court game. I currently use the LM Radical OS but am looking for more spin in a 100 square inch frame with similar power level. I like medium-high stiffness with crisp response and 11-12 oz weight. Any suggestions please?

rds 001 mp is a nice option, pure storm/pure storm tour

Some to consider:

a) The APDc
b) The PDR
c) The Head MicroGel exreme Pro
d) The Becker pro

I have not listed them in any order of preference and list these as you mentioned rkts to be on the stiff side. However be cautious here as I belive the old LM radical OS was much more flexible than the above listed rkts.

I actually have the O3 tour MP. It has great spin but its stability wasn't very good. Also, its power was a little low for me. Is the Pure Drive or Aeropro Drive a good alternative to my LM Radicals?

I would like to try the Yonex, except I wonder if its power is enough for me. Can anyone do a comparison?

It sounds like you'd like the Pure Drive. Demo it (the PD, PDR, PD+, or PDR+ are all good rackets).

Second that. But why not demo the RDS001 MP? You may find the added control to outweigh the lower power frame. I dropped the APDC in favor of the RDS001 MP for just that reason...couldn't control the APDC.

The RDS003 seems perfect. apd and certainly pd is much too powerful if you're coming from a lm radical.

Try out the Babolat Aeropro Drive! It has everything you want, spin, power, the right stiffness and weight(11.3 oz.), and of course it's head is 100" (5pts head light). The extras are the aero modular technology, cortex system, woofers, and aerobeam technology. Go demo it, I think you'll like it a lot.

So far I have the PD and the APDC on my list and maybe for the Yonex 003. Can anyone do a comparison of the Yonex vs the Babolats? And how are the Pure Storm and the Tecnifibre 310?

rds 001 mp seems like a great option but you seem to be ignoring it.

Does the 001 really have the same pop as the other racquets? It seems much more low powered from the specs...

i dont find the MP to be that under powered.. esp strung at low tensions. the mid is another story.

I'll give the 001 a try. Anybody try the tecnifibre 310 and can give a comparison? Thanks.

I am another 001 user and I also think that u will love the mp version. Its got low-med power (depending on string set-up), a high ammount of control, great spin access, good feel, great stability, and great forgiveness due to the large sweetspot. Compared to the APDC, PDR, and the MG Extreme Pro the yonex excels in accuracy, control, feel, forgiveness, and stability(I have hit with all). You said you wanted something between 11 and 12oz so this is just above your peak at 12.1oz strung w/ an overgrip but so is the Extreme Pro and the PDR... But trust me when I say weight is good:)

I would highly recommend the Yonex RDS 003. Control, power, maneuverability, spin!, right amount of stiffness. It really is a near perfect combination, and a fun hit. I think it will give you more controllable power than the Radical, the frame specs you are looking for, and all the spin you could want. The RDS 003 feels great from all areas of the court, and really gives the confidence to go for shots. I would have never considered this frame myself, but I demoed it just for fun and was extremely surprised.
