What's a good string setup for a POG longbody. I've been using cheap Prince Synthetic gut 16 and 17 all my life, and would like to try something new. I'm a big baseline player, looking for something with pop and power.. especially on serves. Thoughts anybody?

You can't go wrong if you try powerful poly/syntetic hybrid at lower tension...

i found the pglb working better with poly at high tension.
Actually im using Signum Pro Poly-Plasma Pure 16L(1.28 ), at 58, Plasma pure is stiffer than the regular sppp (i used regular sppp 17 at 62 before, was fine too).
Tried a few cheap syntethics (babolat syn gut and prince), but they lose tension to quickly and the mains movement is really anoying...

i know this is pointless BUT.....

58 or 62 lbs is NOT a "high" tension

That's what I used when I played with the POG LB--or maybe a pound or two less in the winter.

I like it best with a syn gut/poly hybrid at 52/48 or full poly at 49/46.
