Does anyone know of any UK-based demo programs with the Tecnifibre Tflash series?

A lot dont do Technifibre demos. However if you could get one form US on the auction site, it will be quite cheap if you can escape customs!

I've only ever known one place that did Racket demo's which was a pro shop near where I lived...

Problem is they've gone bust now :( tis a shame.

Sorry, I don't know of anywhere.

You could always match the specs of that racquet with Vantage and get one from them to try; if you don't like it can you adjust it until you do :-)

They are superb racquets IMO.

I don't understand why demo programs are not common in other countries outside US. Is there not a demand for such things?

Not really goober, over here "proper" tennis rackets can only be bought from pro shops (which are few and far between) and online stores which don't offer demo programs because even they are relatively few....

It's just not profitable enough over here to send out rackets for demo's especially when they cost so much.

i've already checked out topspin, and it seems like tecnifibre is basically the only they don't do, which is all the more frustrating considering they are 20mins from my house!

Try ***, which are dotted around the London area. If you don't live near one I think they have a demo program on their mail order service. Here's the link to their website.

Ok, that was pretty weird, replace the asterisks with the first letters of patrick william patrick. I feel like a spy writing coded messages.

P W P do demos but you have to call them

As for top spin tennis, i asked them about tecnifibre and the said they only get the rackets that people want. They said i was the first person to ask for a tecnifibre demo this year and this was like 2 weeks ago. They also dont stock some models of rackets due to the demand. Eg Prince, they stock the ozone tour but not the speedport tour

Some cheap ones here if you could make a decent offer! Look at the US shops near the bottom. And you get a choice of string patterns. If you didnt like it, you could sell it on for more here in UK

Just copy the url and change the eba* to you know what:)

There is a p - w - p shop in the Club at Letchworth which is about 40mins from Cambridge, not sure if they stock that T flash series but sure they could get one in store. Speak to Ian if he still works there. Haven't been there in a long time, but they definitely do demos.

I get a really doog surprise about this, i live in Dominican Republic and we have just a "few courts", and i think that there is no way i can demo a racquet here, but i went to the pro shop that represent Prince here, and yes they give you racquets to demo, that's a nice thing, but no other brand have representation here, so i just can demo Prince, but that;s just fine is better than nothing

You should look for the shops that represent brand in your country in see if they can give you some demos.

I don't think there are any shops around here that carry only a specific brand... they would lose too much money imo.

Yeah, that's a great shop. Got my pure drive there. Amazing customer service, patiently demoing around 5 rackets with me way back when I really, really sucked. However, it would feel kind of awkward considering I just want to demo it, as it costs 125 here but 85 in California, where I'm going in a few weeks.

There's a dealer listed at Walton-on-Thames on the Technifibre website.
