Thanks, I hope you enjoy as well. My trip was cancelled to Australia. Sure would have liked to go.
Check out Agassi in this pic and tell me what he is doing right that you can do in your own forehand?

Any takers? Obviously this is after he hit the ball.

Keeping his eyes on the ball?
This ensures stable head and consistant stroke.

Your are warm but reverse the comment above. Don't forget your eyes can move but what is his head doing? Measure where his back shoulder is in relation to his chin - what moved and what stayed still well after the ball is long gone.
There is way more in this photo for learning.
Hint: body position, arm angle, elbow position, non-dominant arm/hand, wrist position, racquet position, shoulders, does he look like he is muscling the ball, his navel - yes his navel which links to the body position. It actually is a a great photo to burn into your head when you practice your strokes.
Thanks for your reply! Look again.

-Still head
-Body at 45 degree angle
-Elbow in front of body plane
-Contact point is in between legs (rotation has brought the swing into the ball rather than away from it as suggested by revolutionarytennis.com)
-Position of left shoulder shows evidence of body rotation probably beginning with the right leg.
-Left arm, although in a weird position, appears to be slowing down the shoulder rotation to keep the swing going into the ball.
How's that?
One thing that seems strange to me is the open racquet face. Maybe he was hitting a low ball? Judging from the wrist still being laid back, the picture must be just after contact.

LOL, very good! Yes, the wrist is still laid back!!!
What about his non-dominant hand/arm? Is that helping? Is his shoulders over rotated? You can clearly see how his shoulders rotated under a still head. Federer is a master at this as well.
